2012 NC Energy Code Resources

The North Carolina Building Code Council has recently adopted amendments to the upcoming 2012 building code that will increase the energy efficiency of all residential and commercial buildings constructed in the state. These changes will have an impact not only on builders and subcontractors, but also on building suppliers, architects, engineers, and home energy raters.

The following documents were created by consultants and engineers during the code development process to assist with implementation and instruction about these changes. For more information on upcoming seminars and presentations about the new energy code, be sure to visit the Training Events page for workshops offered by instructors at Appalachian State University and various partner organizations.
