Pre-Construction Best Practices for
ENERGY STAR v3 New Homes

The NCEEA has created a video series to demonstrate the pre-construction best practices that allow a builders, raters, and trade contractors to successfully participate in an ENERGY STAR version 3 new home build. Eight steps are outlined in a timeline format, with additional information provided between the videos that may be used as a checklist for each build.

Energy Efficiency Sales Tools

The NCEEA has developed a promotional package of "Energy Efficiency Sales Tools". These tools are currently available at no cost to builders who commit to constructing 100% ENERGY STAR homes, as well as to Realtors who are Alliance members and regularly sell high-performance homes. 

These 8-1/2" by 11" placards (24 per set) can be placed around the home during tours to highlight various elements of energy efficient construction that are often not so apparent to the consumer.
