Continuing Education: NCDOI 3 hrs Building OR 1 hr Mechanical, Engineers may self-report for 3 PDH's

Description:
This session will educate participants on the key provisions of the NC Energy Code. It will focus on problems identified during our recent field study of 250 new homes. Topics will include a quick overview, details on slab insulation, insulation coverage & installation practices, knee walls, lighting, duct sealing, and air sealing. Photos from our recent field study will be shown showing practical applications as well as what doesn't meet the code.

This training includes an interactive plan review exercise where participants will team up and implement the energy code provisions just reviewed by evaluating a set of residential home plans.
